My Grandfather.
I would never have survived without his kindness.

There are many people that were once in my life that are no longer here. I can't think of any of them I wouldn't want to have back. But my partner shot himself a month ago and I would do just about anything to have him back.

This is when we cherish those memories we have stored in our mind and our pictures.

My Dad! I'd like to have a second chance at making things right.

Sadly its after they are gone that we realize we missed that chance. I guess you now know to keep things right in the rest of your life. Your welcome to post a picture of your dad in our group, and we will add him to the People to Remember folder.

Grandfathers of the past seemed to be able to understand us. Both of mine did I remember. But families seemed to be much closer back a few years then they are now. But I wonder if technology has kind of pulled people further apart. Just a few years ago, take music, the was 8track, cassette and records(vinyl). Everyone could relate to those........................today, there is wav, mp3, digital, plus the old stuff, you and I are so advanced in just music that the grandfathers of today, if they are not computer savoy they have no way of understanding us when we talk.

My grandfather could just look at me to know if I was up to no good.
