:iconraytash: and myself have been nattering back and forth, and she wishes she still had her old "junk", I still have some of my old "junk", but also a lot of photos of it.

Two things I wish I still had were my old gumby and pokey figures with bendable legs, the other is a old violin in a wooden case, which i gave away to my niece.

SO WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU STILL HAD THAT YOU HAD TO GET RID OF YEARS AGO?

Write me and I'll post the lost items...........hey who knows someone may have just what your missing.

My 67 Firebird. That's the first place I'm going back when I find the time machine.

Dunno. I have most of the important things. I don't know if it's so much as wishing I still had something so much as wish I could go visit times and places I can barely remember. XD I sometimes think I would be a better person if my perceptions of my memories of events that had an impact on my life were challenged a bit XD

Several things actually. The first was a 1950's fan that I found in the trash (and still worked!) that my parents snuck out behind my back, and the other was a 1980's television (an unusual one that I haven't managed to find since, that I also got out of the trash. Even after a rain storm it still worked)

Glad you brought this up!! When my mother died, we cleared her house, and there was such a lot of stuff we had to throw away, because it was too much to take home. I threw away my old toy building blocks, some were really, really old, like the beginning of the last century, and I am still grieving about that.

I found some on the internet and bought them, but they are just not the same. I just canīt seem to get over that :(

Isn't that weird, it goes to show you, something may look the same, but it wasn't...........yours!

We all have regrets of things we let go and now wish we didn't. But life goes on and stands still for no one.

I used to have a little metal pencil sharpener that was shaped like an F-15. I got it from someone in the Navy when he was stationed in Abu Dhabi. I gave it away to someone, I hope it was to someone who would appreciate it, but I really don't remember. If I remembered who, I might ask for it back. I have no idea why I gave it away, I really loved that thing. But I didn't realize it until I became a fan of aircraft again.

My 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner. It was my first new car and a very desirable classic today, and fun to drive; MikeZ.
